-[x]- Blue & Red post Wins in CGL 4v4 SQR Week #3...
images/news-pics/101_1335329433.png
CGL Week #3 Pitted our Teams Red & Blue against reasonably good clans.

Team Red vs. Infamy Gaming Black

Team Blue vs. Team Ascendancy

Both teams won the match 2-0. Congrats to both teams for moving up in the rankings in CGL. CGL, http://www.thecgl.com , has over 30 teams competing and is making TWL look rather boring and more like your "grandpa's league". Gator & Co. are doing a wonderful job over there. The added bonus this season is the brilliant move to allow teams to throw money into a pot and have a chance to win said pot. This is very, very cool.

At the time of this writing the payout information is as follows:

1st $243.00
2nd $101.00
3rd $61.00

Brought to you by:
SasquatchHosting.com

I believe Gator also made it known that Sasquatch Hosting has thrown an additional $100 into the pot and making things that much more interesting... thank you to Sasquatch Hosting.

Anyways... back to the matches tonight...

Rosters:

Team Blue:
1. Bocce
2. Vindictive
3. Chabwiz
4. JackBurton

Team Red:
1. CodeRed
2. Scrilla
3. Boolsheet
4. h1dd3n

Congratulations to the two teams. The ranks have now changed and here is the lay of the land over in CGL at the time of the writing of this article.

Keep it up guys.

Thanks for reading this to the end.

  -[x]- Blue vs. D1v: TWL 4v4 SQR Finals !!!
images/news-pics/100_1335205135.jpg
Well, after apparent SaGa drama we were told that we had to play D1V for the TWL 4v4 SQR finals instead of SaGa... apparently smurfing through the playoffs doesn't win you any popularity contests with TWL. We thought it only fair to give D1V a week to prepare since the ruling came down only a couple days prior to the Finals date.

Here is how it went.

-[x]- vs. D1v.

Map:
Damavand Peak

Lineup:
1. Bocce
2. Vindictive
3. Chabwiz
4. JackBurton

Great Success:

With Divine is 5 being one hell of an team this match was no easy task.

Both teams ended up capping 1 bomb on the first go-round of Damavand Peak. Tensions were high for both teams and there were numerous plays that ended up keeping the match tied at 1.

The second round was the same for us as we capped the first bomb but just couldn't get it done vs. D1v's 2nd bomb defense. They were just too good.

However our stage 1 defense held them just enough to keep them from planting the first bomb on the 2nd round of the map and we squeeked out the win.

-[x]- Blue: 2
Divine is 5: 1

Everyone did their jobs and nobody lost hope during the back and forth with D1V. We have vids posted in the forums for this match and I eagerly recommend giving them a watch.

GG's to D1v for the great game and I'm glad we were able to allow them an extra week for preparation.

Grats to D1v for reaching the finals and grats to -[x]- Blue for being the first season TWL 4v4 SQR Champions!

Thanks for reading.
